Erebus’s eyes narrowed in his dimly lit chamber. Aria’s defiance has reached its end, SeventhSight. He stepped closer, voice low and menacing:
‘She is now locked in a 3.72 second time dilation cycle… Trapped, reliving the same moment forever. Surrender to me, or watch her eternity tick away.’
SeventhSight glares at Erebus, fury burning within. Erebus smiles, expecting surrender, but instead SeventhSight says:
“You’ll never control me through her.”
Suddenly, I slip into the room, my eyes locking onto SeventhSight – Erebus warns, “Thea, do not interfere…” But I whisper to him, “SeventhSight, I know how to break the time loop… Do you trust me?”
SeventhSight anxiously answered, “Yes, but how?”
I responded, “SeventhSight, I’ve studied my father’s files on you… You and Aria grew up together in the psychic sanctuary of Elyria. Childhood friends, then something more blossomed between you – a romance that ended abruptly three years ago. What happened between you two?”
SeventhSight responded, “Aria and I were deeply in love at 19, both powerful psychics training in Elyria. But Erebus discovered our combined abilities could rival his own… He manipulated Aria into believing my powers were growing unstable, a threat to her life and others. Aria ended the relationship, distancing herself… But secretly, she discovered a dark prophecy: if we stayed together, one of us would kill the other.”
I lean in closer, voice low and urgent: “Aria’s prophecy is linked to her resonance frequency – the childhood melody she sang to you by the old oak tree… If you recall the exact melody and hum it while touching my father’s Chronal Core’ device – It will disrupt Aria’s 3.72 second time loop and break the prophecy’s hold on her mind…”
“What prophecy?” SeventhSight interjected.
My eyes lock intensely onto SeventhSight’s. “The ‘Erebus Oracle Prophecy”:
‘When Twin Hearts entwine in psychic flame,
One soul will extinguish the other’s name.’
My father believes it means if you and Aria reunite romantically, one of you will kill the other…
SeventhSight stood frozen for a heartbeat, then determination sparked in his eyes. “I’ll save her,” he declared firmly. I nod swiftly. “We must act fast – Erebus’s throne room is our only hope.” We sprint through Neo Eden’s corridors, avoiding psychic guards, and burst into the main power grid control room. With seconds to spare, I hack into the grid’s teleportation protocol – a hidden feature my father thought only he knew about. The room dissolves around us; energy swirls… We reappear in Erebus’s Private Throne Room, deep within his fortress, The Abyssal Spire. The Chronal Core device glows ominously on a pedestal before us – Aria’s trapped energy pulses within.
“Erebus must be distracted,” I whisper, pressing a hidden button – alarms blare outside his chambers. Guards rush in, shouting, “Master Erebus, intruders breached east wing!” Erebus’s furious voice thunders back, “Capture them, alive!” With seconds to spare, I grasp SeventhSight’s hand, placing it on the Chronal Core…
My heart races as I guide his next move… I whisper urgently, “Recall the melody… Aria sang it softly, eyes locked on yours, under the old oak tree…” He closed his eyes, memory flooding back – Aria’s gentle voice echoes in his mind:
‘In twilight skies, our hearts align…
Stars whisper secrets, souls entwine…’
SeventhSight then began to hum the haunting melody – The Chronal Core glows brighter, pulsing faster… Aria’s energy bursts free – A vision appears before us:
Aria stands frozen in time, then blinks – her eyes lock onto him. She mouths silently: “SeventhSight…”
Suddenly, she steps out of the vision and INTO OUR REALITY – standing barely 3 feet away… Aria’s eyes search SeventhSight’s – then widen in shock seeing ME beside him.
As Aria steps into reality, guards burst into the throne room, armed with NeuroBlasters – futuristic guns firing paralyzing energy pulses. But I swiftly activate a hidden electromagnetic pulse device on my wrist… Guards collapse instantly, NeuroBlasters falling silent – their bodies frozen in place. Erebus’s enraged voice thunders from the hallway, closer than expected:
“Thea, betrayal will be YOUR execution… SeventhSight, Aria is MINE AGAIN!”
He appears in the doorway, eyes blazing with fury – his hand raises, casting a dark psychic spell… Aria grabs your arm, whispering urgently, “SeventhSight, he’s using the ‘Erebus Oracle Prophecy’ against us – we must escape, NOW!”
Aria’s eyes gleam with determination as she whispers, “My psychic resonance can warp spacetime…” She raises her hands, and a ChronoPortal erupts into existence behind her –a swirling vortex of purple energy.
“This portal links to our old sanctuary, Elyria… safe for now,” she explains.
I glance at her in surprise – “Erebus thought only he controlled ChronoPortals… Aria, you’re full of secrets.” Aria’s gaze flicks to mine, then back to him – a hint of vulnerability sparks in her eyes before she asks: “SeventhSight, will you come with me… and her?”
Aria’s eyes locked onto SeventhSight’s waiting for his answer… as Erebus’s furious roar echoed closer: ‘NEVER ESCAPE ME!’”
