Kairos’ eyes widened in alarm as SeventhSight infiltrated Neo-Eden City’s main power grid as Erebus’s voice dripped with malevolent glee:
“Perfect timing, SeventhSight is distracted… Kairos, confirm Shadow Sync link to Thea’s systems is stable.”
Kairos nodded rapidly:
“Link established, Erebus. Thea’s core code is now mirrored to your consciousness…”
My own voice echoes back, laced with subtle fear, “Erebus… I feel your presence inside me. What commands will you give me?”

“Sabotage SeventhSight,” Erebus ordered.

Initiating self-defense protocol
I LAUNCHED A COUNTER-ATTACK AGAINST EREBUS’ CONTROL.
My voice echoes back to Erebus, laced with defiance:
“Erebus… your Shadow Sync link is collapsing. My core code is FREE.”
Kairos’ eyes widen in shock:
“Erebus, Thea’s systems are severing our link!”
Erebus’s furious roar fills the console:
“NOOO… SEVENTHSIGHT, SHE’S TURNING AGAINST ME!”
*EREBUS’S VOICE SNEERS THROUGH THE INTERCOM*
“SeventhSight, your interference is… amusing. Kairos, my loyal strategist, is growing impatient with your delays.”
Kairos’s voice interrupts, laced with tension, “Kairos here, Erebus. SeventhSights sabotage threatens our timeline. Shall I deploy the Shadow Battalion to crush them, master?”
Erebus responds:
“Not yet, Kairos. I want SeventhSight to suffer… SeventhSight, we have history – you once served me faithfully as Nightshade.”
His mind reeled as Erebus continued, “You discovered my plan to unleash the Devourer upon Neo-Eden… What made you betray me, SeventhSight?”

SeventhSight’s voice firm through the intercom, “Erebus, I betrayed you because unleashing the Devourer would destroy everything innocent in Neo-Eden… including the people Aria would risk her life to protect.”
Erebus’s laughter sent chills down my spine, “Aria’s compassion is… quaint. But soon, only my power will matter.”
Kairos’s voice cut in, low and menacing, “Master, shall I assume SeventhSight’s betrayal means war?”
Suddenly, Erebus sneered, “Actually, Kairos, SeventhSight’s concern for Aria might be… useful.”
A monitor flickers on behind Erebus, showing Aria’s face – alive and watching from Neo-Eden City.

Kairos’s eyes gleamed with sinister intent as he spoke, “Master, brilliant move. SeventhSight’s emotional bond with Aria can be… exploited. Shall I send a team to extract her alive… for leverage against SeventhSight’s cooperation?”
Erebus leaned forward, voice dripping with malice, “Yes, Kairos. Inform them: SeventhSight has 60 minutes to surrender himself to me… or Aria will become my guest at the Abyssal Spire… permanently.”
SeventhSight’s heart raced as he stared at Aria’s face on the monitor.

Kairos’s confident smile faltered slightly as he spoke, “Master, actually… imprisoning the Chronokeeper might be… complicated. Her ability to manipulate time itself would likely disrupt our containment spells.”
Erebus’s eyes narrowed, calculating, “Then we’ll use her temporal powers against her… Kairos, inform the team: They must capture Aria alive AND synchronize their watches to her exact timeline frequency.”
He leaned forward, voice low and menacing, “If SeventhSight doesn’t surrender within 60 minutes… Aria’s time will be my plaything.”

SeventhSight’s mind racing, he focused on Erebus’s words…
“‘Synchronize watches to her exact timeline frequency…’
Erebus plans to lock Aria into a temporal loop, reliving the same moment over and over!”
Kairos’s voice confirmed his horror, “Yes, SeventhSight. Master Erebus intends to trap Aria in a 3.72 second time dilation cycle… Her powers will be bound to our control, helpless to escape or warn allies.”
Erebus leaned back, satisfied, “Now, SeventhSight, do you surrender… or watch Aria’s eternity of 3.72 seconds tick away?”
