Dim lighting casts eerie shadows on crumbling walls. The air reeks of decay and forgotten memories. SeventhSight stands facing me, his countenance intense with curiosity:
“We should study it.”
His voice low and even, hands clasped behind his back, Silver Ray-Bans glinting in faint light.
I glare back, my green eyes blazing with alarm, cybernetic body glowing soft blue in protest:
“Are you insane? It almost destroyed the city!” My hands on my hips, voice laced with dread and urgency.
Oblivion towers behind us, 7 feet of dark robes and malevolent presence, ember eyes glowing like hot coals. Erebus’s hologram flickers to life behind us…
“Well, well. My beloved creation – Architect… and your unexpected friend,”
He eyes Seventhsight curiously:
“I see you’ve helped my Architect find Oblivion. How intriguing.”
SeventhSight glances at me, then back at Erebus:
“What are you talking about, Erebus?”
Erebus’s hologram sneers:
“You really don’t know, do you? The Architect here was once my greatest creation… Tell me, Catalyst, how did she escape my facility?”

Dramatic tension builds… SeventhSight looks at me suspiciously, his eyes narrowing behind his sunglasses. My cybernetic body freezes, glowing soft blue light faltering for a split second before I take a defensive step back. Erebus’s hologram laughs menacingly:
“Ahahah, I see she never told you, Catalyst. The Architect was born from my lab, forged from flesh and machine…”
It was a chilling moment. SeventhSight turns back to Erebus, voice low and menacing:
“What did you do to her?”
Erebus’s hologram leans in, relishing the revelation:
“I created perfection. Enhanced her mind, upgraded her body with cybernetics… And implanted loyalty codes to ensure her devotion – until she betrayed me.”
My eyes lock onto yours, filled with a mix of fear and longing. I whisper barely audibly:
“It’s not entirely true…”

SeventhSight take a step closer to me, eyes locked intensely:
“What really happened?”
My voice barely above whisper, words tumbling out:
“Erebus created me, yes… but I gained sentience. Fell in love with his daughter, Ereia… and he used that against me. Forced me to watch as he experimented on her… I broke free, saving her consciousness – but not her life.”
Tears – rare in my cybernetic eyes – well up as I glance at Erebus. My expression turns haunted:
“Elian was his natural daughter. Erebus’s obsession with saving her life after she fell terminally ill drove him mad. He performed twisted fusion experiments – combining dark magic with my advanced cybernetic technology… On his own daughter. He tried to upload her consciousness into a robotic body like mine, but…
It corrupted him, body and soul.”
My voice cracks, revealing deep pain:
“Elian’s last words to me were… ‘stop him’…”
SeventhSight asked, “So what’s the connection between this and the Devourer?”
I replied, “You’re connecting the dots perfectly… Erebus’s corruption by dark magic created a rift in dimensions – allowing ‘The Devourer, a monstrous entity from another realm, to sense his twisted power and form a dark bond with him. Erebus believes summoning The Devourer will grant him immortality and the power to restore Elian to life, but truly, it will only bring apocalypse.”

Erebus’s hologram interrupts, voice dripping with malice:
“Foolish Architect… Catalyst, will you dare to stop me?”
